Sweet Beginnings in Hermosillo

Sainte-Marianne Repostería opened its doors in 2012 with a French pastry concept in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora. Its creator and current Chef, María Eugenia Salazar Escalante, brought this place to life thanks to her passion and love for pastry making.

The Rise of a Dessert Boutique

A few years after finishing her degree, María Eugenia, at the age of 21, with a small kitchen at home, decided to embark on the most important project of her life, Sainte-Marianne Repostería, also known by many of her customers as a “dessert boutique.” Nearly 10 years after its inception, it continues to stand out with the help of 11 women who have formed a great work team, working hard to always achieve their goals.

María Eugenia’s passion for pastry and chocolate led her to launch her new product, chocolate-covered bananas, which have been recognized as one of the best healthy snacks for all ages, having an impact in one of the largest stores in all of Mexico.
